traffic policeman beaten over summon

An unsatisfied man who had been summoned for traffic wrongdoings took the law into his own hands. He attacked the policeman who was having dinner with his fiancée at a food stall using two plastic chairs in addition to punches. This is due to his dissatisfaction when the policeman told him then that once issued, a summon cannot be retracted. Consequently, the policeman suffered injuries on the face and left hand. He then lodged a report before going seeking treatment at a nearby clinic. The man is now detained for further investigation.
