10 sen cheaper fuel!!!

Starting this very night, prices of petrol and diesel are 10 sen cheaper!! Is it not a pleasant news for all? This is the second adjustment made by the Government and it is the maximum value could they reduce. This step was taken after considering that people would start their balik kampung exodus to celebrate Hari Raya. Therefore, it is hoped that this will reduce the burden of the people this festive season as the Government would be paying slightly more for the fuel subsidy as the average crude oil price would be only seven sen cheaper but the Government had decided to absorb the difference and lower it to 10 sen.

Though you cannot accept advices for me, you offer them
Though you cannot make me unselfish, you teach me to share
Though you cannot force me to show honour, you teach me respect
Though you cannot choose friends for me, you advise me about them
Though you cannot build my reputation, you tell me the facts of life
Though you cannot achieve lofty goals for me, you tell me about them
Though you cannot force me to be gracious, you teach me about kindness
Though you cannot give me eternal life, you tell me how to live

Thank you with all my heart...

we are the dirtiest!!!

A seven-country survey conducted by the Hygiene Council, a global panel of medical experts, found that Malaysian kitchens were dirtier than bathrooms! With dishcloths and kitchen sinks crawling with germs, we are not only preparing great food, but disease and infection are stewing there as well. The results were based on swabs taken from the bathtub, kitchen sink, bathroom and kitchen taps, a plastic toy, fridge handle, dishcloth and kitchen bench. Consequently, a few recommendations were made such as washing hands after using the toilet, cutting vegetables before meat and disinfecting chopping boards regularly.
