the parody of Negaraku

Wee Meng Chee, the 25 year-old rapper, who courted controversy last year by recording a parody of the national anthem, Negaraku with lyrics touching on corruption, police abuses and racial discrimination was asked to translate the six-minute Chinese rap video into Bahasa Malaysia and also questioned on the purpose of making the video by the authorities. Responding to the reporters after the interrogation, he calmly remarked that the police were helpful and friendly throughout the session.
